Your Impact:
The Director of Enterprise Sales, Mid Market is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in our Enterprise market segment, and will focus on driving sales with businesses and organizations outside of the public safety sector. This is a team quota-carrying role on a “startup" within the organization where we’ll move fast, win our earliest customers in Mid Market, and build repeatable sales motions.
Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the Axon Enterprise team, the development of your team, and our success crushing revenue goals. Leading by example you’ll be a champion of our Operating Principles and foster a collaborative, transparent, inclusive sales environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Hire and develop a team of experienced Account Executives
- Consistently deliver against team revenue goals
- Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Axon Enterprise in navigating, closing and expanding within strategic Mid Market accounts
- Partner with Axon Enterprise leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process
- Understand the challenges facing the team and clear the way to allow for success
- Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience managing high performing software sales teams (preferably for a SaaS company)
- Successful track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as a manager and individual contributor in strategic sales
- Previous experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team from the ground up
- High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
- Previous experience selling into Executive leadership (C and VP level)
- Territory management and development experience
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and roles. Ability to build and coach territory team over time.
- Technically savvy, good problem solving and analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Not afraid to deep-dive into operational day-to-day.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, multitask and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate concisely.

The Pay: The compensation for this role is made up of an uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 148400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 222600 in the highest geographic market. On average, the national commissions target for this role is USD 200,000. On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role will be a combination of base pay and the commissions target for the role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
