Your Impact
You will join a critical team designing technology that promotes transparency and protects truth. Collaborate closely with talented software engineers, product managers, and designers to create innovative mobile experiences. Your experience shipping mobile applications will allow you to rapidly innovate new and existing mobile applications and bring them to market. You will build innovative mobile applications using the latest technologies, directly contributing to real-world impact.
Our existing products are already well established in major agencies around the globe. Enhancing the mobile experience will unlock even more potential for new and existing customers. This role provides offers the opportunity to work on our Fleet 3 Dashboard App and Axon Device Manager app for phones and tablets.
As part of our mobile team you’ll provide the team with guidance and direction to incorporate some of the latest iOS technologies as we deploy our mobile apps to market.
What You’ll Do
Location: HCMC, Vietnam
Reports To: Engineering Manager
- Design, implement and maintain features within our iOS Apps and related shared libraries.
- Collaborate with the Axon UX team to create UI designs for mobile and turn these into working solutions.
- Work across the entire software life cycle for mobile from prototype through to commercialization and monitoring
- Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight our customers
- Enhance the engineering process by fostering long-term strategic thinking, optimizing sprint planning, and ensuring effective stand-ups to support Agile best practices.
- Build software that adheres to our high bar on stability and latency in this mission-critical space
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work closely within the Scrum team to achieve sprint goals and coordinate with other groups to ensure we build and ship the 'right' product.
What You Bring
- Mastery of Swift and proficiency in Objective-C.
- 5+ years of industry experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on SwiftUI.
- Experience with modern architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or similar patterns, and proficiency in automated testing.
- Experience working with remote data via REST.
- iOS Experience that demonstrates learning & application of the latest native technology: SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager and keeping up with WWDC updates.
- Experience with networking protocols including TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, and Websockets, with the ability to debug using tools like Wireshark or Charles is a plus.
- SDKs: experience related to Bluetooth, WiFi, Networking, Camera (Photo/Video), Audio, File Management, connecting to and interacting with third party hardware is a plus.
