Your Impact
As a Network Admin I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding Axon’s critical network infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your technical skills while being part of a dynamic team. Your work will support our growing ecosystem, contributing to the security and reliability of our network services. With exposure to cutting-edge technologies like Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco routing/switching, and SD-WAN, this role will be an excellent launching pad for your career in network engineering.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid from Scottsdale, AZ onsite 2x a week
Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Infrastructure
Direct Reports: None
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems including Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco routers, switches, and Aruba Access Points.
- Provide dedicated network and connectivity support for Axon’s Arizona HQ offices, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Assist with configuring VPN services and maintaining secure network access for remote users.
- Collaborate with the team on network device deployments and management.
- Implement network security policies, procedures, and compliance controls.
- Maintain network diagrams and documentation for reference and troubleshooting purposes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Support network projects and provide on-call support for escalations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience with network technologies, specifically Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Aruba Access Points.
- Basic understanding of VPN, network security principles, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 56,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 94,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
