Content Strategist

Spaulding Ridge is looking for a Content Manager to join our Marketing team!

You are a creative content strategist and organized project manager. You understand how content fits within a broader B2B marketing strategy. You’re comfortable writing about the intersection of business and technology in a wide range of industries. You’re a rock star who can build solid working relationships with colleagues, senior leaders, and subject matter experts.

 

We are a growing professional services company that delivers technology-based solutions for leading enterprise companies, serving multiple industries and regions. We use our content to convey our point of view on market trends and generate demand for our services. We focus on how technology drives outcomes for businesses and their people. And we keep our values front and center in everything we do.

 

Together, we’re looking to build a demand gen engine that uses compelling multi-channel content to convey our message, our technical abilities, our experience, and our values.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Write and edit both short- and long-form marketing content in alignment with our overall content strategy, independently and in collaboration with Spaulding Ridge’s subject matter experts. Content will include thought leadership articles, sponsored content, research-based reports, press releases, web copy, and more.
  • Manage Spaulding Ridge’s marketing content calendar to help bandmates leverage marketing-created content with clients and prospects.
  • Follow trending topics for the professional services sector and targeted industries as well as best practices for content distribution and promotion across various mediums.
  • Work with external vendors to generate content for public relations and sponsored content initiatives.
  • Serve as a people manager for the marketing team’s APAC region, helping to build an effective, cross-functional team and coaching junior colleagues in writing and professional skills.
  • Understand our buyer personas and key industry trends to create engaging content across the funnel to help guide prospects forward in the buying cycle.
  • Help manage our marketing technology stack, including tools related to SEO, content management, project management, and analytics.
  • Assist other members of Spaulding Ridge in developing internal and external communications, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 10-13 years of experience in content marketing in IT consulting, SaaS, or another technology-focused B2B field.
  • Ability to turn complex technical information into clear and compelling content and marketing materials aligned to Spaulding Ridge’s institutional voice and message.
  • Understanding of channel sales and partner marketing trends.
  • Experience working with designers and video creators to generate compelling multimedia deliverables.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage longer-term projects and shorter-term deliverables and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong internal relationships with senior leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Writing, proofreading, and attention to detail to meet the high standards of B2B communications.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems, SEO tools, and web traffic metrics.
  • Skill with long-tail keyword research and the associated tools.

Preferable qualifications include:

  • Previous experience with WordPress, Asana, 6Sense, and Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of enterprise technology and data analytics for finance and revenue operations, with knowledge of Anaplan, Snowflake, Salesforce, Docusign, and/or OneStream a significant plus.
  • Graphic design ability, preferably including Adobe Creative Suite.
