About the job
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Lead to join us and help establish a robust QA team. This role will be responsible for implementing QA best practices, executing testing on Salesforce delivery projects, and building and training a team of QA professionals.
You will work closely with the entire project team to review the overall requirements, mentor QA engineers, review test plans/cases, identify defects and push them to resolution, and contribute to a successful go-live.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA Professionals.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers and project managers to ensure quality deliverables
- Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices for Salesforce delivery projects, including projects involving other technology workstreams (E.g., Salesforce plus data integration to NetSuite).
- Work closely with project teams to analyse requirements to understand project functionality and define testing strategies, ensuring alignment with client business needs and goals.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for various testing levels (unit, integration, system).
- Execute manual and automated testing and document/report results on implementations and customizations
- Identify, document, and report on defects using appropriate tools
- Establish QA metrics and KPIs to measure and improve team performance
- Demonstrate appropriate testing actions to internal and external team members and stakeholders
- Support client testing including defect triage, environment and data prep, and progress reporting.
- Ensure that QA processes, methodologies, and best practices are documented, kept up-to-date based on tech releases, and accessible
- Drive efficiency and innovation in the testing procedures including test automation frameworks and tools
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5 years focused on
- Experience with testing CPQ, Service Cloud and Sales Cloud applications/implementations
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization, and integration
- Experience with performance testing and security testing
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in building and mentoring QA teams
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator or other certifications
- Experience with Salesforce DX and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with any of Spaulding Ridge’s other technology: Anaplan, OneStream, DocuSign, NetSuite, Data Integration, Data Migration, Data Analytics
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Flosum, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
