Nous recherchons un·e concepteur·rice de monétisation et d'économie pour rejoindre l'équipe de projet de Haven Entertainment Studios. Le·la concepteur·rice de monétisation et d'économie sera responsable de la définition de la stratégie optimale de monétisation à long-terme pour notre nouvelle IP, ainsi que de la maintenance des systèmes et fonctionnalités connexes dans le jeu. Le·la concepteur·rice de la monétisation et de l'économie est placé·e sous la responsabilité d'un·e producteur·rice.

Responsabilités

  • Être le·la propriétaire de l'économie du jeu. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes de conception, de production et d'analyse pour concevoir la stratégie globale de l'économie et de la monétisation du jeu (y compris les fonctionnalités du jeu, les prix et les liveops).

  • Vous concevrez et équilibrerez l'économie du jeu afin d'améliorer l'expérience des joueurs·euses en augmentant leur engagement et fidélisation. Vous modéliserez et mettrez au point des systèmes économiques complexes. 

  • Créer des systèmes flexibles et une structure de données pour permettre une itération rapide. 

  • Développer des stratégies de monétisation efficaces et centrées sur le joueur qui s'appuient sur la vision et les piliers du jeu. 

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de programmation pour créer des outils opérationnels.

  • Analyser et rendre compte des performances de l'économie du jeu et de la monétisation. Être toujours à l'affût des opportunités (y compris les opportunités de partenariat) et suggérer des moyens d'optimisation. 

  • Être proactif·ve en ce qui concerne les tendances du marché et la concurrence.

  • Communiquer efficacement les concepts de design économique aux autres parties prenantes. 

Qualifications minimales

  • Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en tant que concepteur·rice économique, concepteur·rice de monétisation ou chef·fe de produit dans l'industrie du jeu. 

  • Expérience de travail direct sur un jeu en tant que service (Freemium ou Premium). 

  • Solide connaissance des systèmes couramment utilisés dans les systèmes de progression des jeux en tant que service.

  • Excellentes compétences en matière de collaboration et de communication

  • Excellente compréhension des concepts ARM

  • Excellente compréhension de l'industrie du jeu vidéo et de ses acteurs : Forte compréhension de la psychologie des joueurs et de ce qui motive leur engagement

  • Proactif·ve et respectueux·se des normes éthiques

  • Capacité avérée à transformer les expériences qualitatives des joueurs en modèles quantitatifs robustes.

Position - Monetization and Economy Designer

We are looking for a Monetization and Economy designer to join the Haven Entertainment Studios project team. The Monetization and Economy designer will be responsible for defining the optimal long term monetization strategy for our new IP, as well as maintaining the related systems and features in the game. They will collaborate with the content directors and the design team in order to integrate engagement, retention, and monetization elements into the game. The Monetization and Economy designer will ensure the long term sustainability of the game economy. They will be responsible for making data-informed decisions regarding rewards, progression as well as purchasable content, both in-game or in a first party store. They will always do so in an ethical and responsible manner.

Direction

The Monetization and Economy designer will report to a Producer.

Responsibilities

  • Be the owner of the in-game economy. You will  collaborate closely with the Design, Production and Insights teams to devise

  • perience by driving increased player engagement and retention. You will model and tune complex economy systems. 

  • Create flexible systems and data structure to allow for rapid iteration. 

  • Develop effective and player centric monetization strategies that leverage the overall game’s vision and pillars. 

  • Work closely with the programming team to create operation tooling.

  • Analyze and report on performance of the in-game economy and monetization. Always be on the hunt for opportunities (including partnerships opportunities) and suggest ways to optimize. 

  • Be proactive regarding market trends and competition.

  • Effectively communicate economic design concepts to other stakeholders. 

  • the overall strategy for the game’s economy and monetization (including game features, pricing and liveops).

  • Craft and balance the in-game economy to enhance the player experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Economy Designer, Monetization Designer or Product Manager in the gaming industry. 

  • Experience in working directly on a game-as-a-service (Freemium or Premium). 

  • A solid grasp of systems commonly employed in games-as-a-service progression schemes.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Excellent understanding of ARM concepts

  • Excellent understanding of the video game industry and its players: Strong understanding of player psychology and what drives player’s engagement.

  • Proactive and strong ethical standards

  • Demonstrated ability to transform qualitative player experiences into robust quantitative models.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of modeling intricate systems and forecasting player behaviors.

  • Proven experience in modeling game economies using tools like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual

  • Experience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areas; experience in experimental design.

  • Advanced understanding of SQL and/or Python.

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Looker. 

  • Passion for multiplayer games. 

  • Game Design experience or understanding
