The SIE IT – Corporate Applications department implements, enhances, and supports products and services that underpin PlayStation’s business operations. SAP is a strategic solution in this space, and the platform currently comprises SAP S/4HANA, BW4 HANA, MDG, GRC, SRM,IBP. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Global Director to drive, handle and support the delivery of technical solutions to ensure that the platform continues to meet the needs of the business globally. You will collaborate with business partners from the business and identify and communicate how technical solutions can be achieved. You will do this by gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements, and by working with business and technical teams to design, agree and coordinate the delivery of technical solutions that align with business strategy.

These values and behaviors are evident throughout your previous experience:

  • Demonstrable technical SAP ERP S/4 HANA experience, with proven hands-on experience of product implementation and production support.
  • Demonstrable experience providing effective technical support to business users within a complex and interconnected system landscape.
  • Working successfully across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change: from requirements definition through solution design, build, testing to transition to live operation.
  • Hands-on SAP module configuration experience working on a wide range of ERP implementations.
  • Broad and sound understanding of one or more of the following areas:
  • Supply chain and logistics in a fast paced Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Product data management including Bill of Materials.
  • Data interfaces and system integration, including EDI and other interface solutions which involve IDOC interfaces between SAP MM / SD and non-SAP third-party warehouse, carrier and master data systems;
  • Key integration points between SD/MM/Purchasing/FICO.
  • Sales and Purchase to Pay scenarios, requisition release strategies and SAP PO and inventory functionality.
  • Warehouse environments and processes.
  • Working effectively with offshore / near shore service providers
  • Working with ITIL, Prince2 & Agile methodologies.
  • Working with a diverse range of partners and audiences within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent at influencing and negotiation, comfortable dealing with senior customers and willing to challenge them based on sound reasoning.
  • Excellent written, verbal, social and decision-making skills,
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, working well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working with the following tools (or similar):
  • Issue Tracking (e.g. JIRA, Service Now)
  • Collaboration (e.g. Confluence, Trello)
  • Communication (e.g. Slack, Webex, Skype for Business)
  • Working within controlled/compliance-based environments (particularly Sarbanes Oxley) would be beneficial.

Your technical development and support competencies will include the following:

  • ECC6 / S4 Hana
  • FIORI
  • BW4HANA
  • MDG
  • GRC
  • SRM
  • Experience of designing, implementing, and supporting complex ABAP and Idoc developments

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of SAP experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to break down complex tasks into smaller goals, both for troubleshooting of issues and development of solutions
  • Ability to gather and integrate complex business requirements to generate comprehensive proposals for a desired solution.
  • Ability to effectively converse with end users, business leaders, technical developers, and representatives of third-party companies.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
