Who we are looking for
This role will report directly to the head of R&D in a team of 4-5 people and be responsible for Machine Design, Process Design, and Development, Tooling Design and Manufacturing, as well as PLC Programming and Robot Integration. The role requires a diverse skills and the ability to work in multiple subject areas simultaneously. Must be mechanically minded, open to new and creative ideas, as well and versed in the practical knowledge of getting something built. This is a hands-on role that requires working with a small group of R&D engineering who will be developing innovative automation and process equipment for both Oribi and Re:Build.

What you bring to the Team
- Must be an expert in SolidWorks, PLC Programming, Tooling Design and Manufacturing, Robot Integration, and Engineering.
- Must have experience with Composites.
- Proficiency in Machine Design, Process Design, and Development.
- Experience with SolidWorks modeling is helpful.
- Other skills and experience that will come in handy: Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems knowledge, CNC Programming, CNC Machining, and Waterjet Cutting.

- Actively identify new potential clients via continuous networking, following business news, attending conferences, fielding incoming sales leads, etc.
- Identify the appropriate contact within potential client organizations.
- Present Re:Build Manufacturing to prospective clients.
- Account Development
- Identify potential project opportunities with newly identified clients.
- Cultivate existing client relationships for higher-level, strategic opportunities.
- Process
- Orchestrate a compelling interaction with the client to create alignment on the potential scope of work.
- Collaborate with Re:Build Manufacturing technical staff. Know when it is appropriate to engage others in the business development process and who is best suited to be included.
- Lead the timely development and delivery of compelling formal statements of work with input from colleagues.
- Negotiate contractual details such as fees and terms.
- Constantly learn about Re:Build Manufacturing's growing capabilities, methodologies, and cases.
- Provide timely reports on the status of leads and pending proposals.
- Identify marketplace opportunities for Re:Build's strategic growth.
- Travel to Re:Build company sites and sales events as needed.
What you will bring to the Team
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering field.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a client-facing technical role is required, with prior experience in business-to-business sales preferred.
- Advanced level knowledge of all Microsoft office programs in Windows, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with customer relationship management tools preferred.

Compensation: $70,000 - 105,000
