ReCar is seeking a Virtual Simulation Department Manager

Job Duties: Manage group of crash, safety, pedestrian protection, NVH, Durability, and CFD Aerodynamic engineers. Support crash/safety group to use virtual simulation tools efficiently to get accurate results which will correlate with test results. Support crash simulation engineers to determine best concepts for construction of the vehicle body structure for satisfying all crash and safety targets which are verified by performing virtual simulations. Define all crash targets for Re:Car Pickup/SUV project according to FMVSS, IIHS and USNCAP test standard procedures. Create timing plan and delivery matrix for all crash, safety, Pedestrian protection, NVH, Durability, CFD Aero simulations activities. Determine numbers of engineers needed and most appropriate hardware/software to meet project goals. Track the progress of group activities by verifying the trend of vehicle body structure improvement per simulation results, and remove any deficiencies to maintain strong improvement trend.

 

Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related engineering field plus two years’ experience with Hybrid II, III crash dummies or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related engineering field plus six years’ experience with Hybrid II, III crash dummies. Experience must also include at least two years in each of the following: Ls-DYNA, ABAQUS, RADIOSS, OASYS PRIMER, HYPER STUDY, HYPER MESH, HYPER VIEW, HYPER GRAPH, OPTISTRUCT, NASTRAN, nCode DesignLife, FMVSS, IIHS and USNCAP, FMVSS, ECE and at least one year of experience with ANSA
