JD is looking for an experienced, creative, bilingual professional to develop and drive user growth strategy for the company’s product sourcing service in the North American e-commerce market.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the North America growth strategy: Work with the department head of overseas business to produce a growth strategy to drive adoption of JD’s product sourcing service by North American SME e-commerce merchants. While the role allows for creativity, key pillars of the strategy will likely include designing a user acquisition funnel, engaging target clients directly through social media and other channels, and identifying and developing channel partnerships with ecosystem influencers.
  • Drive growth operations execution: Own execution of the growth strategy, including producing success cases and promoting through online media channels, collaborating daily with channel partners to manage channel strategies.
  • Champion the client: Through direct merchant-user engagement and market research, generate actionable insights to support the department’s product development decision making.
  • Based on business results, will have the opportunity to work directly with the head of overseas business to develop expansion strategy in other international markets, such as Europe, the Middle East, and South East Asia.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in the rapidly growing markets, work across cultures, and self-manage to exceptional business results.
  • Previous experience managing SME growth marketing and ecosystem development.
  • Business-fluency speaking and writing ability in Mandarin-Chinese and English.
  • Professional attitude, with the ability to act as the regional face of the department and company while building relationships with key stakeholders.
