Over the past few years, we have rebuilt our infrastructure almost from scratch. And now we are expanding the infrastructure team.
As a part of the team, you will work to minimize the number of incidents (availability, performance, security) and speed up time-to-delivery new features to customers, building flexible, high availability, and protected infrastructure to ensure every customer’s journey/request runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Create dedicated sandboxes for product teams to minimize possible conflicts when teams develop and test features at the same time
- Implement the best practices to ensure the proper security level of our infrastructure
- Ensure a comprehensive audit of access to any parts of the infrastructure
- To complete implementation of single secrets storage
- To finalize implementation of centralized authorization system in the infrastructure for developers
- Build comprehensive monitoring/alerting system to prevent or proactively work with incidents
- Help teams with incidents investigation relates to databases, message brokers, networks, and clouds
- Participate in growing the engineering culture / DevOps practices to make Wheely one of the best places to work
Requirements
Tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Sentry, Loki, Jenkins.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS/GCP)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux troubleshooting, including networking, file systems, security, and the kernel
- Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, etc
- Experience with containers and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc
- Experience with administration RabbitMQ/Nats/Kafka
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Have good writing and verbal communication skills to ensure efficient communication within and outside the team and to explain your decisions
- Ability to focus on what matters most, manage your time, and get things done
- To be a team player, ready to help engineers investigate issues or teach them new things
- Love to automate manual work and try new modern technology/approaches
