RAPP Chicago is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager

to join our award-winning team.


As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the success of the assigned technical product. You are expected to work cross-functionally with the teams and manage build-out, delivery and implementation of the product. You will work closely with the Product owner and implement their product vision, through creation of a product roadmap and alignment to a delivery timeline. You will manage tasks and provide leadership to the delivery team that includes Technical Architect, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Engineers.


  • Oversee the overall implementation of Digital Marketing solutions for multiple Technical Projects.
  • Work with Product Owner in Managing and Prioritizing Product Backlogs
  • Plan and Coordinate Delivery of Business Features as captured on the Product Backlogs
  • Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming and Daily Stand-up meetings for the Technical Teams
  • Oversee Design, Development, Testing and Implementation activities for the Technical Teams
  • Identify and Manage Dependencies for the Product and across other teams
  • Identify and Manage Risks associated with Product Delivery, and Create Risk Mitigation Approach for these
  • Facilitate and Schedule Meetings for the Product Teams
  • Supervise people, providing Training and Career-Development opportunities; this might include managing direct reports
  • Work in an Agile environment, using tools like JIRA to Track Project/Team tasks
  • Coordinate and Manage Documentation of Project Deliverables using tools like Confluence, Lucid chart etc.
  • Plan and Execute Product Releases to Production while working closely with Quality Engineering team
  • Manage Production Support and Servicing activities for Capabilities deployed in Production

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience working in Software Development space, with 3+ years of experience as a Product/Project Manager.
  • Strong prior experience of Leading Technical Teams of 5-8 people.
  • Prior experience working as a Developer, Technical Designer, System Analyst, Technical Architect, or a Test Architect
  • Good exposure to a variety of Software solutions, including Web Apps, APIs, Data Pipelines, Marketing Campaigns etc.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Execution Methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall etc.
  • Good understanding of Quality Engineering processes and managing Quality Assurance for a Product
  • Demonstrated track record of managing successful projects from feature definition to project deployment
  • Good understanding of the Cloud Management Platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Workfront, Confluence, Lucid chart/Visio, Excel etc.
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
  • Good Presentation Skills and Experience with MS PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and leading the Team/Tasks to clarity.
  • Expert command of the English language.
  • Analytical mindset, good Time Management and Problem-Solving skills, and the ability to see both the big picture and details of a project.
