RAPP Mauritius is looking for Software Automation Engineer to join our award-winning team.
As a Software Automation Engineer at RAPP IO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end technologies to automate UI, APIs and data pipelines. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement automation solutions for both front-end and API testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts, test data, and test environments.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report defects.
- Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and testing processes for APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve test automation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate project automation test results with all stakeholders.
You should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience in unit testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG, NUnit, Mocha and Jasmine.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker is a plus.
- Experience in automating data pipelines is a plus.
- Proficient in at least one version control tool (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- Quality-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
