Role: Planning Director

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the  Planning Director will develop strategic solutions to a broad range of complex business issues and communication requirements. The Planning Director is passionate about the customer experience and journey. A key element of this role is finding creative and innovative ways to develop experiences that engage the audience.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Co-lead a product-first vision for the client globally 
  • Develop a deep understanding of brand and campaign strategies, and target audiences to ensure all work aligns to these 
  • Develop new brand campaign strategies 
  • Offer proactive thinking and ideas to the client’s senior marketers that will help to profitably drive engagement, marketing excellence, innovation and average transaction value. 
  • To work with OLIVER’s Design and Creative Director to ensure that we’re developing highly impactful campaigns, that align with brand strategy at every level 
  • To ensure everything we do is effective and of optimum value, for the client and agency against vision and strategy 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Have a holistic approach to work, and the ability to bring to life creative ideas across multiple disciplines and channels 
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude – adaptability and flexibility is a must 
  • Able to balance a strong point of view with an ability to listen and adapt, and offer open minded and non-political views
  • A clear understanding of all IIG group products and how to utilise this knowledge to the accounts advantage. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
