Role: Account/Project Manager

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Account Manager assists the team in creating powerful and impactful digital content. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a brief and working closely with a dedicated design studio of 3 - 4 resources. Responsibilities include overall account health with a focus on portfolio growth opportunities.

  • You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager is part of a team of 7 - 9 member team, that delivers work across web, performance and digital content. This would range from social media assets to ecommerce and everything in between. With two key resources joining you in the UK, the remainder of the team will be offshore, the details of which will be confirmed, upon your appointment. You will not only be responsible for effective client engagement but take ownership of the delivery of the exciting content we produce for our client.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Understand the importance of brand consistency and working within brand guidelines 
  • A deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations and requirements in order to provide the best service and solution through close partnership with the client 
  • Effective project management through the full lifecycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions  
  • The ability to drive and motivate a team and project through to successful completion  
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility for service levels and KPIs 
  • Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing 
  • Work closely with designers to develop a brief from beginning to end 
  • A keen focus on portfolio growth and overall client project support.
  • Working in a team of 3- 5
  • 5 direct reports.
  • Work across FMCG products and services. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • The ability to manage both individual and project workloads and identifying challenges and risks within them, along with the mitigation and solution  
  • Executional rigour, competent in multitasking and great organisational skills 
  • The ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audience 
  • Competent in presenting and communicating ideas to clients 
  • The ability to clearly articulate your ideas  
  • Manage and lead a team into portfolio growth and successful project delivery  
  • Experience in FMCG sectors. 
  • Relevant experience in:
    • Digital
    • Print
    • Motion Graphics
    • Web Design
    • UX-UI
    • Artwork
    • Production 
    • Project Management
