What will you be doing?

  • Building InMobi Customer Data Platform, dealing with petabytes of data.
  • Innovating new / unique ways to solve known and unknown problems.
  • Responsible for solving high complexity issues at a system / domain / vertical level.
  • Responsible for resolution/ escalations within the area of expertise.
  • Using independent judgment in selection of alternative courses of action. 

What you will learn in your InMobi experience?

What do we expect from you?

  • We are looking for PhD or Master’s in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Economics.
  • Ideally you would have 5+ years of industry experience working in Data Science teams. You would have applied algorithms and techniques from Machine Learning, Statistics, Time Series or other domains in solving real world problems and understand the practical issues of using these algorithms especially on large datasets.
  • You should be comfortable with software programming and statistical platforms such as R, Python, Java etc.
  • You should be comfortable with the Hadoop ecosystem. Experience in Apache Spark will be a bonus.
  • You would be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • You would have excellent technical and business communication skills and should know how to present technical ideas in a simple manner to business counterparts.
  • Experience in applying Data Science in digital advertising is a plus but not a necessity.
  • We are looking for people with a high degree of curiosity and ability to rapidly learn new subjects and systems.
  • You will also be able to effectively create research agendas and communicate innovations to the rest of the organisation, and outside InMobi.
