Overview

InMobi is seeking someone who is looking to leverage their agency or client services experience in a Sales Manager position with a leading mobile vendor. You’ll join a rockin’ team of sellers that has your back as you learn the ins and outs of the InMobi sales ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to make a visible impact on a national sales team for a stable, reputable mobile technology platform in an exciting phase of high growth. 

 

The impact you’ll make

As a Sales Manager in New York, you will be responsible for driving sales from a portfolio of key agencies, brands and direct clients across our customer base by creating and selling effective mobile advertising and platform solutions. You will also participate in and actively shape InMobi North America sales strategy, go-to-market and execution plan.  

  • Identify, close and develop relationships with targeted, strategic advertisers and agencies/ intermediaries that help ensure long term success for InMobi. Pre-existing relationships with independent agencies in the East (specifically in NY) is a plus.  
  • Develop and grow repeat business from existing advertising customers, partners, and agencies.  
  • Execute private programmatic buying partnerships including PMPs 
  • Execute data partnerships with direct clients and agencies to enable media activation of InMobi Exchange as well as InMobi Audiences  
  • Execute app performance partnerships including app download and app remarketing campaigns 
  • Upsell media clients to InMobi platform offerings including InMobi app performance DSP and InMobi insights platform 
  • Communicate effectively internally to align resources (product, engineering, business operations, etc.) to help meet marketers needs.  

 

The experience we need

  • An agency or mobile dynamo. You have several years of experience on media planning teams at large agencies or within mobile and ad tech platform companies. And you know the challenges their teams face and can leverage your experience to help find better solutions.  
  • An ad tech guru. You’ve spent at least 5+ years in ad tech and know the ecosystem well. You are a quick study and have the ability to understand the technical attributes and value proposition that InMobi represents for our clients.  
  • A high-energy and passionate self-starter. You have strong analytical and storytelling  skills and are extremely comfortable in a fast-paced, risk-taking, and often ambiguous environment. 
  • A proactive problem solver. Proven ability to solve customer pain points, challenges, and technical issues, while proactively creating solutions through cross-functional collaboration.  
  • Eager, curious, a fast learner. Your position offers you the opportunity to be autonomous, chart your own path and run with it. You are naturally inquisitive, take a proactive approach, and seek out ways to support your colleagues.

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $95,000 USD to $115,000 USD (min to max of base salary pay). This salary range is in applicable for our offices located in California and New York*.  In addition, an InMobian will also receive variable pay in the form of annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus / sales incentive, as deemed per policy in addition to fixed compensation.

*Our ranges may vary basis final location / region / or fully remote roles in accordance to the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units. We believe that our employees/personnel should have the ability to own a part of the entity they are a part of. Therefore, the entity employing you may elect to provide such stocks to you. Ownership of stock aids us to treat our employer company as our own and base our decisions on such a company’s best interest at heart. To encourage a spirit of shared ownership, we grant InMobians relevant company stock(s). As you contribute to the growth of your company, certain stocks may be issued to you in recognition of your contribution.
