Glance is a lock-screen first mobile content content platform set up within InMobi. The average mobile phone user unlocks her phone >150 times a day. Glance aims to be there, providing visually rich, easy to consume content to entertain and inform mobile users - one unlock at a time. Glance is live on millions of mobile phones in India already, and we are only getting started on this journey! We are now into phase 2 of the Glance story - we are going global!
Glance is looking to bring on-board a Sub-Editor who can handle our Telugu Newsroom in checking our content quality and publishing it across our multi-million user devices. You will be working alongside a world-class team in ensuring that our content meets industry standards before they are distributed to millions of users across the Indian and other global geographies.
Help create accurate and high-quality copy across all our publishing platforms.
Work to enhance the quality of our content within tight timelines.
Simplify communication and rework copy (as needed) for varying demographics.
Edit copy for varying lengths and adhere to various platform-specific guidelines.
Ensure alignment of content to brand requirements and tonality.
Experienced in working in the sub-editor role for at least 0.6-3 years.
Outstanding in your ability to use language and grammar.
Passionate about working in a face-paced environment.
Comfortable at using Image editing software to process basic photo edits.
Fantastic at time management and are deeply committed to meeting deadlines.
Interested in news and current affairs are well-read.
A team-player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
