Position Summary: Fusion Worldwide is hiring a Director of Regional Logistics who will be responsible for the improvement of overall logistics and warehousing operations in the US. This will include the development and management of relationships with multiple third-party logistics companies and other transportation vendors along with our current vendor engagements. This is a highly strategic role by nature and is essential to Fusion Worldwide’s growth as our business continues to expand globally.

What you can do for us
  • Conduct assessment of overall operating set up and flow, use of tools and technology, and system interfaces and develop plans for best-in-class logistics service to customers globally.
  • Work to understand and improve regional capabilities across logistics, quality and operations as well as assessing partners and vendors for better support
  • Develop metrics for logistics operations and report on a regular basis to senior leadership progress and improvement initiatives.
  • Meet with regional partners to understand what abilities and capabilities they possess with an eye towards using those capabilities to improve operations if those synergies exist.
  • In conjunction with operations, conduct negotiations to improve shipping rates with major carriers, packaging prices, as well as other cost control methods.
  • Develop and manage 3PL, carrier, and vendor relationships and monitor to ensure level of service and cost savings are realized as well as looking for opportunities for operational and strategic improvements
  • Build and develop programs to reduce transportation costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Develop long range strategies to support customer operations including hub, stock and ship, and drop ship operations. Look to initiate and develop relationships with overseas operators to handle stocking and shipping, among other duties.
Who we’re looking for
  • 10+ years of logistics management experience
  • Electronic components industry experience highly preferred 
  • A Bachelor's degree 
  • Strategic thinker with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve operational efficiencies
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving regulations
