About your role

Your main goal will be to Hire exceptional people who are aligned to Baubap culture to ensure their long-term impact and contribution to our vision of  to become **the most inclusive digital bank in LATAM.** This by working hand-in-hand with hiring managers to help them ensure and  increase the talent density of their teams. You will act as a guide and support for everyone involved in the hiring process, guiding them to implement strategies and initiatives that contribute to identify the right person

This is an opportunity to go beyond recruiting because you will own the hiring process from start to finish, and will have the opportunity to face complex situations that can be seen as opportunities for improvement to enhance the hiring process to provide the best service to key stakeholders. To accomplish this, you will need to understand the business needs and prioritize roles based on their impact within the organization.

You will report to our Talent Acquisition Lead and collaborate with our People Ops team to ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates as they transition into team members with us.

Your adaptability and flexibility will be crucial in navigating dynamic hiring needs and evolving market conditions also constant and assertive communication in a 100% remote environment will be essential to align hiring efforts with broader organizational goals and objectives.

 

Outcomes

  • Build a strong relationship with internal leaders acting as a guide to know the ins and outs of their teams and better understand their hiring needs, ensuring clarity and alignment on talent needs and objectives.
  • Hire Exceptional People: Identify, attract, and engage exceptional talent that aligns with the company's values, culture, and strategic goals.
  • Cultural Fit: Assess candidates for cultural fit, understanding the importance of organizational values and dynamics in driving long-term success.
  • Take ownership of the entire hiring process, from requisition to pre-onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, utilizing innovative approaches to attract diverse candidates and meet hiring targets.
  • Promote an excellent candidate's first experience by providing exceptional candidate care throughout the hiring process.

 

Day to day

  • Communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders, demonstrating confidence and clarity.
  • Coach hiring managers on recruitment practices to ensure they are efficient, positive, successful, and aligned with business needs and also encourage them to assess the requirement for opening a new role
  • Lead kick-off role sessions with hiring managers to align profile, role outcomes, responsibilities, and seniority with business needs.
  • Manage various sourcing channels, including sourcing platforms, to identify and engage passive candidates and expand the talent pool.
  • Properly manage our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with a focus on quality of the data and candidate experience
  • Regularly attend catch-up sessions with hiring managers to stay up-to-date on the status of the process and create a proactive environment to enhance the results.
  • Continuously gather and analyze data and feedback to gain valuable insights into the talent market and optimize hiring processes.
  • To lead candidate offer sessions and negotiations while ensuring alignment with managers and people team.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with people partners and the people ops team, sharing updates, challenges, and insights to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Adapt to changing hiring needs and market conditions, demonstrating flexibility in adjusting strategies and approaches to achieve hiring goals effectively.
  • Lead and deliver Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong social media presence to promote Baubap and the talent opportunities.
  • Own the hiring process end to end, from requisitions to pre-onboarding (Including JD co-creation, workflow proposal, market research, sourcing, posting, cultural fit interviews, candidates management, references check, offers and candidates follow-up)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 1 year of experience recruiting Tech and business roles for startups
  • 4 years of experience in an HR role.
  • +1 year of experience in a similar role, acting as the main owner of the hiring process
  • Experience in negotiating and advising area leaders regarding hiring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; (English and Spanish)

Nice to have

  • Previous experience as a Talent Acquisition in an early stage startup environment.
  • Previous experience in a senior role.
