About your role 

As an IT Support Specialist at Baubap, your mission is to ensure seamless access and effective functioning of our technological infrastructure. You'll manage critical tools, integrate mobile device management systems, and automate onboarding/offboarding processes. Your role is vital in maintaining our technological backbone, focusing on efficient, secure operations. You'll handle technical issues, support internal team needs, and contribute to enhancing our service request platform.

  • Maintaining optimal operation of computer systems and networks.
  • Take charge of the IT knowledge management initiative aimed at upkeeping the self-service knowledge base for all internal users

Day to day 

  • Managing access to various technological platforms.
  • Implementing and maintaining device management systems.
  • Automating employee lifecycle processes.
  • Addressing daily team requests through our service request platform, ensuring its functionality and continuous improvement.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT HelpDesk
  • Experience in IT support, particularly in access and device management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Apple systems and software
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, network management, and system security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Remote Access, VPN & VDI

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in IT management or related fields.
  • Experience in training program development and implementation.
  • Specific expertise in areas like cloud computing, database management, and network security.
