 About you

🚀 We seek a passionate and experienced Product Designer with a proven track record of leading design projects of broad scope, complexity, and responsibility to join our newly formed "Referrals" product team. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the creative vision, strategy, and execution of our products.

Our referral program, Invita y Gana, enables customers to earn monetary rewards for every friend who receives a first loan through their referral link. The program represents an opportunity for our customers to gain extra money to cover their expenses and emergencies. Some customers even refer to it as their job, earning a monthly income through referrals; several of our top participants have won over $300k MXN.

This year, we are on a mission to transform and improve our referral program as a holistic product, grow our active participants, and ensure a 30% share of the new customer acquisition. The Product Designer, working along with the team's leading Product Manager from the discovery to the delivery stage of the product, aims to increase adoption of the programs through an understandable and easy onboarding and increase loyalty by creatively seeking solutions to provide participants the necessary tools to achieve referrals through a fantastic customer experience.

As the Product Designer, these are the challenges that you will help us for solving

• Improve the volume of new successful referrers through a modern and efficient program onboarding.
• Increase the referral program's new customer acquisition share to 30% through an understandable and smooth customer experience.
• Conduct fast experimentation and gather user feedback to improve Invita y Gana and Estrellas Baubap as a product to provide business and customer value.
• Prototype and test new ideas quickly to achieve the team's outcomes.
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements in a fast and timely manner.
• Seamlessly implement the new ambassador program "Estrellas Baubap" with the rest of Baubap's product offerings, providing one-only amazing customer experience.
• Improve the interaction and visual design of Invita y Gana and Estrellas Baubap.

• Anchor and represent UX within a cross-functional team, driving a cohesive and impactful approach while fostering continuous improvement of design outcomes. Own the product design workflow from start to finish for impactful and high-quality product improvements and features that ship fast.
• Take ownership of the technical UX solution for projects, providing guidance and support to yourself and others while enhancing team tools, patterns, and processes for optimized impact, velocity, and quality.
• Streamline feedback loops and processes for efficient and inclusive collaboration. Cultivate positive and productive relationships with direct collaborators and stakeholders. Act as a UX and design quality steward, driving excellence and fostering growth within the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Share knowledge and insights with your team and other designers to drive continuous improvement.
• Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.

The profile we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a strong showcase of your design skills and projects.
• Be resilient and resourceful in the face of ambiguity and thrive on change rather than endure.
• Understanding how things are built (technology), business, and sensibility for human experiences.
• Understanding of business metrics and how design decisions can impact these metrics.
• Solid and updated experience with Figma and Material Design.
• You value high-quality, well-crafted visual design and care about details.
• You are a strong systems thinker with experience driving execution for complex enterprise products.
• Understand the building constraints of your design; you are product-driven with an experimental mindset.
• Ownership: Be capable of taking a project from start to end and making things happen with incredible autonomy.
