About your role

As a Content Writer at Baubap, you'll craft persuasive content across all marketing channels to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. By integrating with our marketing and design teams, you'll ensure every message is aligned with our brand and strategic goals. Your mission is to refine our communication and foster a stronger connection with our audience.

Outcomes

  • Create compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing channels, including but not limited to email campaigns, WhatsApp campaigns, SMS campaigns, phone call campaigns, push notification campaigns, and in-app messaging, with a focus on driving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Ensure copy aligns with overall marketing strategies, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives by working closely with designers, marketing managers, and other team members.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all copy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and enhancing brand identity.
  • Analyze & optimize the content in our communication to reduce client blockages and improve the open and response rates of our campaigns.

 

Day to day

  • Create compelling copy for various channels, including Email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app messages, ensuring it aligns with the brand's voice and goals.
  • Source and select relevant images and multimedia to complement the copy.
  • Understand project requirements from briefs and conduct research to enrich content.
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy to maintain clarity and quality, keeping the brand's tone and voice.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product teams to refine content strategies, utilizing A/B testing and feedback to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.

 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, with a proven track record of generating impactful content that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Proficiency in adapting to the brand's tone and voice, demonstrating an understanding of how to represent the brand’s identity consistently across all communications.
  • Experience in crafting content specifically for outbound channels, such as email campaigns, SMS messages, WhatsApp messages, social media posts, and other direct communication methods, with the ability to engage and motivate the audience effectively.
  • Skilled in tailoring messaging strategies based on the customer lifecycle and loyalty level, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of how to appeal to different segments of the audience at various stages of their journey with the brand.
  • Demonstrated ability to create persuasive and results-oriented copy for a variety of digital platforms, incorporating storytelling, persuasion techniques, and audience segmentation to maximize the impact of each campaign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. Must be capable of working closely with product and marketing teams, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to develop cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all copy is error-free, on-brand, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content.
  • In-depth knowledge of online content strategy and creation, with an understanding of how to optimize content for SEO, user engagement, and conversion.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a readiness to respond to changing priorities, feedback, and market trends. This includes a willingness to revise and improve content based on performance metrics and audience feedback.
