The Senior Data Analyst is pivotal in enhancing Baubap's operational risk management capabilities through advanced data analytics. Leveraging DataDog, Grafana, and other analytical tools, the role involves analyzing vast amounts of operational data to identify risk patterns, trends, and insights. The mission is to provide actionable intelligence that supports risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting, ultimately contributing to the company's resilience against operational risks.

🚀 Day to Day
- Designing and refining risk monitoring dashboards using DataDog and Grafana, ensuring critical risk indicators are accurately captured and reported.
- Analyzing operational data to identify risk trends, anomalies, and insights, using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Collaborating with the operational risk team and other departments to understand data analysis needs and provide support.
- Developing and maintaining documentation on data analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
- Participating in risk management meetings to present data-driven insights and contribute to risk strategy discussions.
- Conducting regular reviews of monitoring tools and data sources to improve risk detection and analysis capabilities.
🚀 Requirements
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record in operational risk management, financial services, or microfinance.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, especially DataDog and Grafana.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in risk analysis is desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for identifying trends and insights in large data sets. Ability to approach problems systematically and deliver effective solutions.
