What We Need

2K has been a major console and PC game publisher for several console generations and is known for bringing amazing IP to the market. As our games get bigger and more complex, we also need to keep pace with rapidly changing legislative, regulatory and societal demands.

The Player Appropriate Design (PAD) team operates across all of our titles to ensure that compliance is at the heart of our production roadmap and supports a positive player experience for all ages. We work principally in the areas of children’s online safety, anti-toxicity and moderation, as well as data privacy. The team collaborates with other product teams at the label and group level, and consults frequently with the core legal team.

We are looking for a committed and talented product manager to work in the trust and safety/data compliance area to drive forward a series of projects crucial to the success of the business.

What You Will Do

  • Consult with game producers to understand the specific needs of their titles and translate these into actionable product requirements and recommendations
  • Drive label-level strategic initiatives for trust and safety
  • Work closely with technical and product teams to implement solutions across multiple areas of game design, data analytics, marketing and customer support
  • Keep track of multiple production timelines and partner roadmaps to ensure successful delivery of key compliance milestones
  • Create effective documentation to educate, identify and demonstrate what is needed for the business to meet its ambitions

What Skills Are Needed

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the technology industry
  • Ideally at least 2 years experience in trust and safety or compliance areas
  • Experience working within the product development life cycle either in or alongside product management teams
  • Knowledge of GDPR, COPPA, DSA, OSA and similar legislation
  • Highly organized and self sufficient with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working with senior management and navigating technical conversations
