What We Need
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager who is strategic, technical, extremely organized, creative, and a strong communicator with an interest and ability to mentor talent. Reporting into the Vice President of Business Operations, the Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for the orchestration and management of the Engineering Graduate Program, a 21-month rotational program with C++ graduate Engineers on 6 month rotations, including international assignments (US, Europe, UK). This program operates out of two base locations (San Francisco and Dublin). This program is designed to drive a constant influx of engineering talent into the 2K business.
This role will lead the program full cycle, including overseeing high volume recruitment, complex rotation management, rotation experience and performance feedback, collaborating with senior leadership in program management and identifying permanent career paths for our graduates.
This role works closely with our development studios, Talent Acquisition, senior leadership and other internal stakeholders. The incumbent should be comfortable communicating and navigating across all levels of the organization.
In your first year, you will partner with senior leadership and the development studios to evaluate and enhance the program, identify new opportunities and define success metrics.
The ideal candidate must thrive in a highly ambiguous environment. S/he must demonstrate inclusive behaviors, creativity, have program management expertise, be results-oriented and metric goal setting with a bias for action.
This is a full-time position from 11.00am – 7:30pm Monday to Friday. The late working hours reflect a high degree of coordination between the Novato and Dublin offices. Hybrid working arrangements are available but full time onsite may be required during some periods (such as graduate orientation weeks). Some international travel will be required.
What You Will Do
- Complete successfully the core training program that all the graduates are doing and feed into the process of the training.
- Have in-depth discussions with the technical trainer & the studio line managers about the technical development of the staff, their performance, the areas that they are struggling, what needs to be done, etc. They need to be able to understand where people are struggling (do they not have enough time on fundamentals of coding, is there a C++ skill gap OR is it related to data layers, etc.)
- Be an active manager of C++ Engineers
- Develop and update program plans, budgets and resource plans ensuring alignment with program requirements.
- Manage and and proactively report on plan, budgets, inclusive sourcing, recruitment progress, graduate performance, rotation experience and conversion tracking and progress. Maintain and present metrics to senior leadership.
- Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement creative recruitment strategies to ensure we target and recruit the best candidates and enhance the company's diversity.
- Lead and influence conversations with senior leaders, Studio Heads and management to identify rotation requirements, program planning and provide updates to ensure alignment and progress.
- Manage complex rotation schedules ensuring operational needs are met and graduate experience is optimal
- Own international rotation processes, collaborating with international stakeholders and external partners.
- Mentor graduates by providing timely and effective performance feedback and early career guidance.
- Coordinate and support engaging, high quality, innovative, and timely development opportunities (training, special projects, communications, speakers, events, workshops)

- If located in Dublin, you are comfortable working hours 11am-7:30pm enabling greater connection between Novato and Europe offices.
- 25% travel required
Preferred Qualifications
- Passionate video game enthusiast
- A college or university degree
- At least four years of experience managing or with exposure to a training program
- Programming experience in C/C++
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science
- A desire to stay current with leadership and learning and development best practices to elevate the program experience
