The position is to be part of our mapping team and migrate maps to a new framework.

As a member of the Mapping Support team, the ideal candidate will be tech-savvy and possess a relevant geographic background. This role requires someone with a strong desire to be hands-on, fast learning skills, and the ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Use technical tools to migrate VIA’s map data to a new database
- Support and maintain maps of VIA’s service worldwide
- Collaborate closely with our developer's teams to add fixes and improvements
- Develop skills to solve mapping problems
Who You Are:
- Technically proficient with a strong focus on details, especially in tasks related to mapping
- Extremely responsible, self-reliant, and adept at assuming ownership of tasks from start to finish.
- Experience with GIS tools and methods - must
- GIS-oriented degree student or programming/SQL background - advantage
- Possess excellent self-learning and communication skills
- Available for a minimum of three days per week
