About your future Team

KYC Operations team is the backbone of the 1st Line of Defence at Solaris. We handle a variety of tasks connected to onboarding,  fraud prevention and AML risk assessment of our prospective and established customer relationships.  We work closely with Sales Support, Tech, Product and Compliance teams as well as third-party providers in order to provide the best possible onboarding experience. Our main goal is to ensure the daily business operations are running smoothly. Your main contribution would be to support us in daily processes as well as improving our safeguards and controls together with Anti-Financial Crime and Product teams.

Your Role 

  • Conduct a variety of Know Your Customer (KYC) activities on new and existing customers and partners, in accordance to the anti-money laundering laws and bank’s internal policies
  • Act as AML Expert under KYC Operations department (1LoD), support and develop the current operational procedures and controls in close cooperation with Anti-Financial Crime department
  • Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert for complex AML/CTF questions
  • Manage internal projects as a part of new process implementation for partners
  • Play an active role in process and workflow improvement in close cooperation with Product teams
  • Proactively support with managing various audits and improve the process and control documentation across KYC Operations

  • University Degree and/or successfully completed commercial apprenticeship in a related industry (e.g. bank/office clerk, business administration)
  • Minimum 3 years experience KYC and/or AFC compliance relevant area
  • Solid understanding of European Anti-Money Laundering legislation and industry best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Proficiency in English language, good knowledge of German language is an advantage
  • Strong time management skills, problem solving, decision-making and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff
