About Your Future Team

We are strengthening our Third Party Risk Management function at Solaris.

The Team “Third Party Risk Management” is responsible to ensure:

  • MaRisk Compliant Third Party Risk Analysis & Implementation of necessary mitigation measures is in place
  • Adherence to End-2-End Control requirements i.e. via control integration checks
  • Exit & Termination Plans are up to date
  • Outsourcing Reporting to the Regulator is kept up to date

Your Role 

  • Manage Solairs’ cross functional Third Party Risk Assessment Process and the related internal stakeholders to ensure a MaRisk-Compliant & Audit-Prove assessment of our Third Party Risks is in place
  • Track and monitor the status of Solaris’ third party risk assessments as well as actively managing related stakeholders and deliveries in a high quality and timely manner
  • Liaise closely with the Central Outsourcing Management function in regards to the implementation of control requirements & adherence to the Solaris Outsourcing Control framework
  • Support in the management of internal and external audit request
  • Establish Exit & Termination Scenarios for dedicated outsourcing in collaboration with the affected business units.
  • Support the correctness & completeness of the outsourcing reporting to the regulator
  • Conduct reviews and other research to identify process deficiencies which could facilitate high-risk scenarios and recommend adequate mitigation thereof in the context of outsourcing management
  • Advocate Solaris Third Party Risk Management approach within the company

  • Min 5 years of relevant work experience in the area of Risk-, Third Party or Contract Management - knowledge of MaRisk, EBA Outsourcing Guideline & BAIT is a huge plus
  • University degree or Post-Graduate qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Finance preferred or a comparable field of study
  • Good stakeholder communication, presentation and analytical skills to apply with diverse teams and different hierarchy levels (internally and externally)
  • Very good knowledge in general office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), preferably with a good understanding of workflow tools and process improvements
  • Strong Project Management skills to ensure complex processes & dependencies are managed and escalated adequately
  • High-degree of self-motivation, sense of personal responsibility as well as independent and result-oriented work are valued
  • Fluency in English is strictly required. German language knowledge is a plus.
  • Not afraid to “get your hands dirty” and solve problems creatively, while being aware of regulatory compliance requirements
