The R&D Director of Shopper Intelligence is responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of our new Shopper Intelligence product. This is a rapidly growing, independent and multidisciplinary team in our R&D.

A day to day as a Director R&D Development at SimilarWeb means... 

• Managing a multidisciplinary group of data engineers, data scientists, backend and frontend developers.
• Leading the development of advanced and creative solutions for complex technical problems in different areas like big data, machine learning, serving, storage and more.
• Work closely with the product and design teams.
• Communicate on a weekly basis with the business owner and get feedback from customers and prospects.
• Hiring new employees and developing the group structure.
• Be crucial part of the product strategy in a startup-like environment.

What will I bring to the team?

• BSC in computer science, mathematics, or other applicable domains is expected.
• An MSC or MBA degree would be advantageous.
• Extensive experience in big data/research or web applications as a developer or manager.
• 5 or more years of people management experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in product development and delivery.
• Experience as a manager of managers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the eCommerce industry - Nice to Have.
• Familiarity with the web/internet/online industry - Nice to Have.
