About The Team:
Noah Medical’s Research and Development (R&D) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, and on-time. We are a dynamic, data driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love. Noah Medical R&D team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. R&D also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even field reliability. We are looking for curious, collaborative, energetic problem solvers who enjoy a challenge. A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Capital:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for a key subsystem of the capital equipment team to develop safe and effective medical devices
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to propose viable technical solutions and make design decisions
- Design and build test protocols and fixturing for engineering confidence testing
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors, and manage inputs and outputs
- Lead the resolution of technical issues where root cause analysis requires in-depth evaluations from both theoretical and practical perspectives
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks that may impact the overall product design and performance
- Generate and review technical documentation including design-controlled specifications, requirements, protocols, etc.
- Develop and ensure compliance with departmental procedures relating to design control processes, quality systems and regulations, and good documentation practices
About You:
- 5-8 years of experience as an individual contributor in the area of technical leadership, including at least 3 years of medical device capital equipment experience
- Experienced in the product development process of medical device capital systems, particularly knowledge in development parts with relevant manufacturing methods: machining, molding, sheet metal, weldments, etc
- Proficient in using Solidworks for design of components and creating complex assemblies and detailed drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to execute in technical projects
- Proactive planning and consistent follow up behaviors

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
