Reports to: EMEA UK&I Sales Engineering Director
Your Impact
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Axon, you'll leverage your expertise to serve as the trusted advisor to customers in the value and technical aspects of our globally leading solutions delivered via hybrid or cloud centric. You will support the sales campaign, communicating the value of our technology and deploying evidence capture devices and digital evidence management solutions to Public Safety Agencies across the EMEA UK&I region. Your role bridges technical and sales efforts, driving successful outcomes for both customers and the company.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary technical and value-focused advisor across the territory, including technical presentations, architecture design discussions, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to smoothly transition opportunities into successful delivery by Professional Services and/or Partner networks.
- Document customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management teams.
- Present and evangelise Axon, in particular the Fusus solution line, technical and business value propositions at industry events.
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Axon solutions and domain expertise within technology subject areas.
- Proactively plan to prevent post-sales issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in technical advisory roles, preferably in the VMS or IP Camera Industry.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network equipment, security camera systems, and VMS solutions.
- Experience with SaaS, on-premise software, networking, installation, configuration, and testing.
- Charismatic and energetic self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel significantly (approximately 50%) with hybrid work options available.
