Your Impact
We are currently seeking a talented People Operations Lead to join our Shared Services organization, who will be responsible for leading a team of 5 HR Operations Specialists. Within Shared Services we are committed to fostering outstanding, simple and easy experiences for our employees, while providing lift to our internal People Operations team. This role is focused on different stages of our employee life cycle; from onboarding, mid employee life cycle, offboarding and partnering across People Operations functions to help craft seamless workflows. As a Lead you will be driving continuous improvement, owning our audit & compliance processes, and helping iterate for the future of HR Operations.
What You’ll Do

Reports to: VP Shared Services
Level: Lead/Supervisor
- Leader of 5 global specialists across multiple time zones and regions and employee life cycle support.
- Responsible for the management and administration of People Ops resources compliance related external reporting, training, and state and federal legislative adherence.
- Collaborate with People Operations leaders to identify gaps and drive more effective delivery of services on a global scale.
- Find opportunities for process enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance service quality.
- Develop data-driven solutions that demonstrate a tangible value for our service delivery model, using analytics to inform decision-making.
- Act as a subject matter expert for our Shared Services tech stack including Workday & Zendesk, being the go-to for the team, at the “tier 1” support level; escalating systems issues requiring higher “tier” support to other SME’s.
- Along with the People Operations Specialist team, provide front-line support to end-users, addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues.
- Identify areas for improvement related to data maintenance, system support, and reporting.
- Provide insights and ideas to automate and continuously improve HR processes which enhance the employee experience.
What You Bring
- A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, management, or business-related field
- At least five years’ experience in a progressive HR role
- 0-2 years managing a team of 2 or more direct reports
- 0-2 years Global HR Operations/Systems administration/Data Analytics
- Systems experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, and familiarity with case management technology, ideally Zendesk
- Thoroughness with an ability to multi task and stay organized in an array of tasks of varying degrees of difficulty and complexity
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Ability to articulate and implement a customer-centric vision, driving collaboration and agreement across the organization
- A team player with a desire to support others and continuously raise the bar
- Ability to anticipate customer and stakeholder needs and proactively follow through
- Experience with process optimization or continuous improvement

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 120,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
