What We Need:

We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Specialist with a thoughtful approach and creative spirit that embraces all opportunities to captivate and engage audiences. Whether internally or across different platforms with different methods, our Social Media Specialist will drive all aspects of content creation, with an emphasis on optimizing and evolving social content across our brand and media platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the studio’s objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines
  • Create compelling and visually appealing social media content (including videos, images, graphics, and animation) that aligns with the studio’s core values and resonates with the target audience
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure the studio’s content remains innovative and competitive within the industry
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align content creation with overall studio strategies and campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and making informed strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the studio’s values and maintaining a consistent brand voice and identity across all social media channels
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and replies across various social media platforms. Manage and respond to messages received through social media, directing inquiries to the appropriate contact within the studio as needed
  • Contribute to and maintain social content calendar to ensure consistent and timely postings
  • Create visual assets, video and other presentation materials to assist and support other internal teams as needed (e.g. website, internal communications, and presentations)

Who You Are:

  • 3-4 years of social media marketing experience
  • Availability to attend and capture on-site meetings, events, etc.
  • Possess excellent graphic design and video editing skills, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.)
  • Have an artistic vision and advanced knowledge of formatting/designing for specific social media platforms, i.e. TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Strong understanding of multimedia, incorporating elements such as animation, video / audio
  • Able to create pixel-perfect digital assets for social media
  • Possess strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and self-management skills
  • Impeccable writing /copywriting skills with a knack for tailoring content to specific audiences that also aligns with the brand’s tone of voice
  • Experience integrating social activations with broader marketing campaigns
  • Experience with building a content calendar
  • A game-for-anything attitude, a can-do mindset, and the ability to thrive in collaborative environments
  • Previous games industry experience is a plus, but not required

 

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $69,900 and $103,440 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
