We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Sofia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of new projects through a full SDLC cycle involving the latest technologies, specifically focusing on our trading, back-office, and risk management systems. Working directly with leadership, senior management, and compliance functions, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage global projects that are visible across the entire business and global userbase. The Technical Project Manager holds the key project relationship with senior executives from both Business and Trading Technology and is an integral member of our team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively manage a project portfolio in terms of sprint planning, prioritization, and resource management
  • Apply business analysis skills to complicated business needs and make recommendations for preferred solutions
  • Globally monitor external and internal IT development departments in delivering best in class technological solutions from inception to go-live
  • Define and track project objectives while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs 
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technologies and systems utilized across the product portfolio

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Computer Science/Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within trading/financial industry
  • Project Management Certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, CPMP or similar
  • Technical proficiency to challenge technology constraints and trade-offs with technical team (internal or external)
  • Experience managing IT solutions in a fast-paced trading environment, across multiple product lines
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate issues clearly using appropriate technical vocabulary
  • Knowledge of compliance and legal aspects of systems delivery and usage in a business environment
  • Experience of working in Agile environments (SCRUM experience is an added advantage)
