We are looking for Area Vice President (AVP), UK & Northern Europe. This is an exciting opportunity in a fast growing region for Similarweb and a chance to lead, grow and scale our business within the UK & Northern Europe region.

What does the day to day of AVP UK & Northern Europe at Similarweb look like:


  • Lead and manage the UK Strategic and Enterprise commercial teams to exceed revenue targets and overall objectives.
  • Work with the SVP of EMEA to plan the short, mid, long term strategy for defined markets, defined business units
  • Identify human resource needs to implement strategy and increase the company reach and orchestrate the hiring processes.
  • Use knowledge of market intelligence to effectively evangelize and  articulate our value proposition to prospects and clients across the UK & Northern Europe region.
  • Focus on the continued growth and development of the leadership team reporting to the AVP
  • Refine and implement go-to-market and sales operations best practices and processes that will enable continued scaling and selling discipline and the achievement of targets
  • Expected to exceed revenue and retention goals through efficient management of the sales process and world class execution across the entire funnel
  • Effective reporting and forecasting of existing business and new business 
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement with all core elements in Similarweb


This is the perfect job for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a regional VP or similar with a history of success in building and running high performing commercial teams, both pre and post sales
  • Track record of hitting new business targets consistently over several quarters
  • Experience with culture transformation, change management, promoting positive work values and high collaboration
  • Experience of successfully growing and scaling businesses 
  • Track record of implementing effective Sales processes, from Playbooks to creative tactics to improve conversion ratio
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans, everything from go-to-market to pricing
  • Experience in SaaS Sales and a strong understanding of the digital marketing space
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead and motivate multiple teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high EQ
