We’re looking for a Sales Manager, Inside Sales to increase Similarweb’s market share by creating and cultivating new accounts. 

This role will report to our Team Manager of Inside Sales (APAC) in Singapore.

As a Sales Manager for Inside Sales, you will control the entire sales cycle, and develop critical relationships with our small to medium size business prospects. 

With customers who love the product, strong brand recognition, and a supportive team behind you, you’ll be set up for success to meet your sales quotas.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Inside Sales team means your daily responsibilities may include:

  • As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for generating revenue from new logos. This role will involve originating leads, developing accounts and closing deals. This is a full sales cycle role. You will be increasing the market share in the allocated vertical.
  • Reporting to the Team Manager of Inside Sales (APAC), you will be expected to exceed revenue goals by planning and executing successful sales to both SMB and Enterprise clients across India and Southeast Asia. You will be responsible for acquiring and possessing expert knowledge of our SimilarWeb's core product
  • Managing the sales cycle for both inbound / SDR leads (70%) and outbound prospects (30%)
  • Understanding and communicating Similarweb’s unique value proposition to prospects, through prospecting, discovery, and solution proposing
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts and managing sales activities in Salesforce
  • Driving a sale forward by engaging the prospect at the director/ C-level executive level 

This is the perfect job for someone who:

  1. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales and/or business development (SDR) preferably in software selling to clients in India and/or Southeast Asia
  2. Fluent English
  3. Demonstrates strong presentation skills, and has experience presenting to clients and stakeholders 
  4. Feels confident leading the sales process and handling customer objections 
  5. Is highly collaborative, and uses a direct and honest approach to delivering customer success
  6. Has previous experience selling SaaS products or data subscriptions 
  7. Is proficient in Salesforce

It’s a plus if you have:

  1. Preference for additional language capabilities like Malay, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Thai (this position will be working in Southeast Asia)
  2. Experience with and/or selling to digital agencies 
  3. Experience in selling software with a focus on data analytics to marketing and sales professionals
  4. Deep understanding of current digital ad technologies and online marketing including display advertising, SEO, SEM, Affiliates, Social, Email Marketing, and data solutions
  5. Experience in taking a new, disruptive technology to market from a new sales perspective
