Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Web3 Security Underwriter to join our team and help underwrite insurance products for the Web3 ecosystem. You will be responsible for assessing and analyzing risks related to Web3 technology, including smart contracts, centralized and decentralized exchanges, and custody solutions. You will work closely with our product and underwriting teams to identify and address potential client vulnerabilities and needs, and collaborate with external partners to ensure comprehensive coverage. 



Taipei, Taiwan



  • Conduct thorough assessments of Web3-related risks, including centralized and decentralized exchange, custody solutions, and smart contracts 
  • Collaborate with product and underwriting teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for risk mitigation 
  • Work with internal and external partners to design and develop insurance products that provide comprehensive coverage for Web3-related risks. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging risks related to Web3 technology. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Web3 ecosystem participants, including blockchain companies, developers, and security researchers. 



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field. 
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate it clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Basic understanding of Web3 technology, including smart contracts, centralized and decentralized exchanges, and custody solutions. 
  • Familiarity with insurance products and risk assessment methodologies is a plus 
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams. 



  • 3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity / Security Consulting with certification in cybersecurity or risk management. 
  • Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital asset exchanges 
  • Knowledge of insurance products and underwriting is a plus 


Interview Process 

  • Phone interview
  • 1st Interview: 2 hours, 0.5 hour meet with HR + 1.5 hours meet with hiring managers. 
  • 2nd Interview: 1 hour, meet with Co-founder
