The Technical Product Manager - Catalog Platform will be fully responsible for the platform architecture of the Homepage, Category Pages and the Product Detail Pages. These pages are the backbone of our customer experience. They will collaborate with Front End teams to understand how users interact with these pages to understand the customer journey and devise features to support them. They will work to reduce latency on these pages. They will build scalable, highly available back end services that will meet the needs of the Front End teams. They will explore how to integrate personalized experiences that will increase user engagement. They will invest in services that will serve desktop, mweb and native apps in the same manner thereby enabling a unified user experience across them all.
Job Expectations:
Expertise in best practices and standards for product delivery across cross functional teams
Define KPIs for the home page, category page and product detail page and measure baselines for each
Oversee the development, and delivery of our homepage & product detail page roadmap from an infrastructure perspective
Effectively communicate, drive alignment, and successfully execute on our product development roadmap
Collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, Design, Front End PM, and other teams
Work with the Personalization teams to incorporate relevant experiences for our users
A/B test new back end features and page modifications
Collaborate with Front End teams to set the vision and strategy for the IHerb homepage, category pages and product detail pages
Improve latency
Work with native app teams to build services that serve all clients and align experiences across all channels

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Solid communication skills
Manage the product vision and roadmap from ideation, product requirements gathering, and delivery
Strong data analytics and A/B testing knowledge for consumer and platform products
Strong knowledge of establishing KPIs and success metrics to drive product development teams
Experience with agile development methodologies
Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
Experience effectively working with remote teams
Experience working in both public and startup environments
Experience with communication platforms and growth initiatives
Versatile product leader who can thrive in a dynamic environment
Experience Requirements:
Generally, requires a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with product management
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Technical background is preferred. MBA is a plus.
