About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Global Supply Manager - US to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between demand forecasts and optimized supply. While your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient material and inventory management through meticulous tracking and mapping, you will also gain valuable experience in contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of our demand planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Determine and communicate supply needs on numerous projects, based on collaboration with engineering and historical consumption models.
- Identify optimal material and inventory levels to meet projected demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Track purchase orders, supplier lead times, and inventory locations to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
- Develop and implement supply visibility tools and reports to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and communicate potential supply chain disruptions and proactively propose solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory buffer strategies to handle demand fluctuations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Production, and Logistic to ensure on-time delivery of raw material.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field
- 4+ years demonstrated experience in supply chain engineering in a complex, and/or large-scale manufacturing supply chain environments.
- 2 + years' experience with world-class inventory management tools such as SAP/IBP.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development.
- While experience in demand planning is not required, candidates with some exposure or an eagerness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,000-$120,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
