About the Role:
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director for Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead the company’s IAM strategy and initiatives. This role will focus on developing and implementing both internal and external IAM solutions, as well as partnering with our Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management Service (KMS) teams and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IAM frameworks, security protocols, and compliance requirements, while also demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic direction for, technical leadership of, and oversight of the engineering and operations teams and related vendors, tools, and processes for enterprise IAM, such as
- Authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
- Identity governance and administration of all directory services
- Privileged access management and vaulting
- Cloud IAM design and management
- Client and field identity management and authentication
- Provide strong technical leadership to guide teams on the delivery of key program deliverables while driving well-managed operations for long-term program sustainability
- Assess, design, implement, and maintain new and existing IAM platforms and solutions to protect the organization's critical data, products, assets, and infrastructure related to Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Data Governance, and Application Access Management
- Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for IAM processes, as well as current configurations of IAM platform tools
- Stay up to date with emerging IAM threats, technologies, and trends in support of Zero Trust principles related to human and non-human identity management
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the IAM team
- Translate business and technical Identity security requirements into an architectural blueprint adhering to enterprise security architecture standards
- Participate in product/vendor evaluation and selection process for IAM, PKI/KMS solutions
- Produce IAM platform and PKI/KMs solution architecture artifacts related to our deployed solutions
- Leverage automation to simplify and optimize IAM policies, optimize time-to-deliver for application and resource access, and capabilities for the ongoing audit and certification of access
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the design and implementation of security solutions
- Proven expertise in PAM, Identity Governance, Directory Services, PKI/KMS building and operations, Authentication, and Authorization methods for internal and external use cases.
- Ability to clearly articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing or participating in product designs, architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $240,000-$275,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
