Job purpose:

A focus on Payments & electronic document processing are central to the success of the GBS Corporate business, with expanded propositions supporting a wide range of business processes to help a business pay & get paid, simply and securely. As part of the commercial product team you will be assisting with managing products & propositions at the business level across the full lifecycle, from inception through launch and into sales maximisation.

The role:

Product is the heart of business, linking together many departments and teams through clear planning, clear articulation of requirements and priorities and a focus on getting the job done. You will work closely with cross-discipline teams and subject matter experts to develop and launch new propositions, and also ensure the continued success of more mature existing product propositions.

  • We are looking for individuals that are inquisitive, articulate and are keen to take ownership for delivering success for the team by focusing on opportunities that improve its products.
  • You’ll be involved in helping move a proposition from an initial concept through to delivery - working with the Business & Market Development teams along the way to develop a solid business case and forecast.
  • You’ll work with the Product Delivery teams to ensure the proposition is clearly understood, planned, validated and bought to market in a timely fashion, with progress along the way clearly communicated and issues resolved through you close relationships & initiative with the teams.
  • You’ll ensure exceptional proposition launches to receptive and responsive client bases through working closely with the business and sales teams, supporting with high quality marketing, sales materials and events.
  • Once launched, you’ll work on campaigns to help drive the continued success and growth of a product, working with Marketing to define the campaign and track its success.
  • You’ll provide a general support role to the wider Commercial Product team which will see you involved in as many aspects of the team as possible, ensuring a rapid immersion into Bottomline and also a steep learning curve covering a range of essential business skills.
