Working closely with our people leaders and team leads across the business, you will coach, navigate and help them solve crunchy people problems. You’ll be a champion of our values and enjoy developing, launching and embedding people programs that provide a world-class employee experience and that supports all Zipsters to deliver on their ambitious goals.

You’ll be an experienced professional who is comfortable in a fast paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with  hustling and getting things done. You will also be someone who strives for excellence and is passionate about doing things differently!

These roles are critical to drive strategic and operational people priorities in the region and to support executing our world-class people strategy. With growth in employee numbers, this role is required to ensure adequate partnership and support across the region. Also required to work on people projects and programs that support growth and culture.

We are looking to bring on a Senior People Partner to look after our technology and product functions to coach and guide on people strategy and problem-solving, and help drive organisational change as Zip continues to grow and evolve.

Working as part of a world-class People & Culture function, you’ll partner as a trusted advisor with senior and executive leaders to support them in developing high performing teams, being their expert advisor on a variety of complex employee matters along the way.

You’ll also own and support people programs that enable Zip to continuously improve as an organisation and as a business, across diversity & inclusion, leadership development, employee relations, WHS, employee learning & development, reward & recognition and talent management.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 8+ years experience in People & Culture and HR roles of increasing responsibility
  • Specific experience supporting senior leaders as a senior people partner or HRBP
  • Proven experience across the whole employee lifecycle including leadership development, organisation design and development, talent management, remuneration & benefits, performance management, and employment relations
  • Track record in delivering successful and impactful people programs across a broad range of areas
  • Strong experience in building relationships with and influencing diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate ideas in a structured and engaging way
  • In-depth knowledge of of employment relations, legislation and statutory requirements to meet the changing needs of our workforce
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to continually improve programs of work
  • Passion for working working as part of a high performing team who are constantly looking for ways to improve
  • Experience in a tech or product company, or supporting technology functions in a corporate is a plus
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles
