Reporting to the General Counsel you will provide oversight of the implementation of Zip’s Issue and Incident Management policy and procedures across the ANZ business. You will help in the management of, and provide oversight for, issues and incidents managed by the various Zip business units. You will be responsible for monthly reporting of incidents, periodic follow up of incidents, and supporting various teams and management through the Incident Management process.

- Co-ordinate the review and update of the Issue and Incident Management policy ensuring it remains current and fit for purpose.
- Obtain an in-depth understanding of the Issue and Incident Management policy and procedures and act as a subject matter expert
- Manage and monitor the issue and incident portfolio ensuring compliance with enterprise requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders to find solutions to issue and incident control deficiencies, ensuring that root causes are known and understood. Escalate any critical decisions, roadblocks, or delivery issues to management.
- Work closely with partners in the business to obtain and document monthly status updates on issues and incidents.
- Define, develop and produce monthly reports that provide a consolidated and detailed view of the tracking and progress for incident resolution by business unit and the ANZ region.
- Contribute to the Operational Risk Committee and Board reporting on issue and incident management.
- Analyse the nature and type of incidents to identify any systemic issues or root causes that may need to be addressed.
- Develop and implement issue and incident management training and communications to ensure organisational awareness and understanding.
What you’ll bring to the team
- 7 or more years of Compliance and/or Risk management experience within the Australian and/or New Zealand financial services/fintech industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all organisational tiers and build positive working relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures and reporting.
- A strong bias to action.
