Data Analyst - 12 month contract 

  • 1+ years experience working as a Data Analyst, ideally within a product focussed organisation. Solid SQL skills and a passion for digging deeper to find the why behind data.

A role in Zip’s Data Analytics squad will see you partner with key stakeholders, specifically across product and commercial teams to supply fast, reliable and future-proof data, powering data-driven decision making on our biggest and most interesting business challenges.

Interesting problems you’ll get to solve

  • Own relationships and provide analytical support to our Commercial (sales) and Product teams! 
  • Working with our complex and large volume of data to understand trends, behaviours and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Scaling our dashboard reporting to visualise these trends and provide a reliable single source of truth for key sales performance metrics.
  • Influencing business stakeholders across our Product and Commercial teams to help make better, data informed decisions

  • Proven experience using SQL for performing complex queries and data manipulation.
  • Experience delivering data visualisation dashboards across business critical insights (we use Tableau but if you’ve used PowerBI that’s fine too!)
  • Bonus if you have worked on Snowflake data platform.
  • Experience using DBT would be great but not an absolute requirement as we will help you learn! 
  • Ability to work with a range of non technical stakeholders to clearly communicate the data story.
  • Team player, enthusiasm for learning new tech and jumping into a diverse range of projects.
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles.
