THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER
- Take the technical leadership for the team's services, which form a core part of revenue generation and serve millions of customers
- Ensure technical quality and manage technical debt
- Advise product managers and stakeholders on technical feasibility
- Coordinate projects with other teams
- Support in building a great team
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional backend development, ideally 3+ in Python
- Familiar with building resilient distributed systems
- Experience in integrating with payment provider systems is a plus
- Understanding the pros and cons of different frameworks and architecture approaches
- Experienced in technical leadership and decision making
- Strong communication skills
