During your internship, you will work very closely with survey scientists on SurveyMonkey’s research team to conduct state of the art research. You will learn about and contribute to all aspects of survey research, including questionnaire design, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting the findings.
Designing, running, and analyzing survey experiments
Conducting statistical analyses of survey data
Drafting, editing, and programming survey questionnaires
Preparing data reports, including toplines, tables and charts
Fact-checking reports and other products
Making others aware of your findings by blogging, presenting, and publishing them.
Education or background in survey research or social science
Strong analytical and research skills
Background in statistics and experience using at least one statistical packages
Ability to summarize data for a variety of audiences, including non-researchers
Patient, teammate with attention to detail
Superior writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with A/B testing and experiment design a plus
International survey research experience a plus
Experience with R a plus
Experience with SQL a plus
Experience with mobile surveys a plus
