What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join the team responsible for SurveyMonkey’s AWS Cloud Platform evolution and operations. The Infrastructure team in Center of Excellence in Bangalore will operate as part of the broader SurveyMonkey Infrastructure team with specific focus on the domains of CI/CD, Quality Platform, Data Privacy, and Observability. This role presents an opportunity to work as a member of a cross-regional team responsible for building world-class infrastructure, solving complex problems at scale, learning new technologies and offering mentorship to other engineers.

What you’ll be working on

  • Strong technical depth in AWS Technologies, especially EKS, CloudWatch, CodeArtifact, Elasticache, MSK, and OpenSearch 
  • Strong technical depth in Quality Automation technologies including Webdriver.io and Selenium (via AeroKube)
  • Strong technical background in Observability technologies such as open telemetry and vendors such as Splunk
  • Promote a security-oriented and data-privacy-first development and testing culture within the development team through education and knowledge sharing

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure development and operations and/or DevOps
  • Previous Observability experience
  • Previous Quality Automation Platform experience
  • Previous Secure Software Development and Data Privacy centric development experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring others
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, especially AWS
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, Node.js
