We’re seeking a Program and Alliance Manager to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods!
As a member of our Drug Discovery group, you’ll serve as Program Manager for two to three drug discovery/early drug development projects. Your team of 100 scientists, which includes designers, modelers, computational/medicinal chemists, crystallographers, biochemists, and biologists, will have experience working on all common target classes and therapeutic areas. Our group engages with contract research organizations, academic institutions, and consultants. We’re also supported by over 100 software developers and engineers, as well as a large-scale compute infrastructure. Four of the programs on which we’ve worked in the last seven years have advanced to the clinic, three are still progressing through trials, and one has been approved by the FDA.

What you’ll do:
Manage one to two drug discovery/early drug development programs (these could be internally-owned programs and/or alliances with external partners)
Collaborate with the internal team to drive projects and with pharma, biotech, and/or academic partners to optimize the relationship and program progress
Manage timelines, budgets, project documentation, communication, and follow-up
Understand, communicate, and negotiate contractual elements internally, with partners, and with service providers
Support the Drug Discovery organization by owning processes and tools required to efficiently drive discovery efforts, including:
CRO and consultant engagement
Portfolio reporting and analysis
Meetings and other communication media
What you should have:
A high level of expertise with drug discovery and/or development
Excellent project management background
Experience working with CROs and academic institutions
