OVERVIEW:

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, and Storage technologies. The Senior Sales Manager for Memory products at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. based in San Jose, CA will be responsible for managing the sales activities supporting specific customer business by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. This job will also entail working with and managing part of our Rep Network for Memory and SSD. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rep Management, working with our local rep network in support of our SMB (small/medium business) customers primarily in the bay area.
  • Collaborate with key decision makers at customer to secure design wins and qualification slots on new programs for DRAM and NAND-based products.
  • Create and align sales forecast, delivering monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue and bit level goals.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer management meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates, and build strong relationships.
  • Negotiate quarterly/semi-annual business awards, including pricing and supply support.
  • Evaluate/Negotiate contract agreements and documents, negotiating terms with the customer and Samsung, and help resolve contract disputes.
  • Support sales opportunities by providing product information, roadmap updates, product samples, and price quotations.
  • Maintain awareness of and communicate internally to Device Solutions America/Korea sales and marketing teams regarding major market trends, customer strategies, and competitive activity.
  • Domestic & International business travel (Korea/Asia) to support customer meetings as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with DSK sales and marketing teams to resolve business issues, plan account strategies, and achieve revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • BS degree. BSEE or comparable engineering degree preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience in semiconductor industry or related technical field
  • Experience with DRAM/NAND
  • Travel to Korea for customer business reviews on an as needed basis (2-3x per year)
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
